stumbled into open source of PDF conversion. It looks good with all the functionalities and great documentation, but it took 4 days and a weekend to get a perfect layout of the printing version :(. The idea of stripping the entire HTML body, processing the necessary parts, and converting them to PDF version doesn’t work eventually. I ended up using the table object instead — in a tedious way. Hmm, the project is still under development. Hope they work hard on this issue. It’s a pain in the neck typing line by line all the cells and rows without running it programmatically. Wish i had more patient to figure out why it’s throwing network credential error for every http request. It’s too much for it, just take the easy route then ;). Anyway, iText ==> good library for PDF conversion, available both in java and .net.

School starts next week, but still no house, no books, no work, and no nothing :(. Gotta find another part time job, work hard on the database (this takes forever :(), learn to cook more good food for chi ba, study hard (eh, newh!!!), save and plan more on the BIG project.

Mấy bà ở chỗ làm ồn ào quá. Chắc tối hôm qua đi ngủ sớm nên sáng nay sung sức. Sáng nào cũng vậy chắc chết. Không tập trung được gì cả. Trời ah, nói đủ thứ chuyện. Tối không cần xem tin tức đâu. Sáng vào tham gia với mấy bà này thì cũng đủ biết Rochester có gì ngày hôm qua. Từ chuyện thời tiết đến chuyện phố phường ngập nắng ! Cái công trình phía sau tòa nhà người ta đang thi công cũng không bị mấy bả tha. Thợ thuyền, gạch đá, đến xe cộ cũng bị lôi ra nói hết. Chời ah, nhiều khi tự hỏi tui đang ở Mỹ hay đang o Việt Nam ???

i have thought and written down, but i have deleted it. It isn’t worth it. JUst a few words.

Stop being a blamer and pretending to be innocent. And people, you were born with 2 ears to listen to both directions. “Get a life” - just like a f** retarded stranger yelled at me before - and do your own business.

By the way, who is it duh? No one knows better than you. Did daddy say that don’t give your purse to your friends just to have them get you a piece of cheese cake. Oh, and don’t be so upset when daddy asked who took the money. Don’t be so fool to say you don’t know because you gave it to many people. Daddy wouldn’t believe you. Daddy would say “tell me who took the money, i’ll tell what type of your friend is.” Liar. Man, what a funny joke isn’t it. So the lesson here is, in the 21st century, where internet is every where and emails are important communication, learn how to use internet wisely and keep your email passwords as your credentials. Hardly understand or so smart to understand it?

Hey also, and this is for you: learn to respect people before you want them to respect you. C’mon, i know you can make up something better than the stories in Nov, Feb, March, April. Just tell them all or i can do it for you instead.

I finally had a chance to try Yahoo Mail beta yesterday. What a sleek design. A new look is like a clone of Outlook Express but i’m not complaining because it’s way too awesome for a web app like this. Lots of AJAX features are implemented into this brand new version that provides a desktop-like look&feel to users. Also, tab feature helps to separate your individual work. Plus, the speed is a lot improved, no more (or less) postbacks interrupt the flow of your work. Speed is a matter that has stopped me using my Yahoo Mail account recently. No matter what the internet connection is, page postbacks everytime i hit compose, send, inbox started annoying me. That’s why i’ve have switched to Gmail lately. Now, i’m thinking about getting back to Yahoo Mail. Life is always getting better ;).

The only thing i don’t like is Yahoo keeps the right column (about 150px wide) for ads. That’s kinda annoying. Who wants to see ads? We should bear with them anyway i guess

Another web 2.0 product is coming out soon. Man, AJAX has changed a lot of web apps today.

– Was trying to upload the screenshot for this but my noob crop skill in Windows Paint is horrible. I’ve been requesting to install Photoshop or Fireworks on my comp but they got back with an unpleasant answer “You programmer don’t need paint”
