Clip.vn has received good comments lately because of its right market in Vietnam. Given the situation where youtube traffic is very slow in Vietnam, watching clips on clip.vn observes very low or almost zero delay. The site surely can become a great source for Vietnamese bloggers who like to embed clips into their personal blogs.

Of course clipvn, or more specifically its users, still needs to diversify their clips to gain more popularity. Apparently, a number of clips posted by the team members account for the majority. Most of them are from different sources. A few of them were actually made by clips.vn’s users. This contradicts with youtube in the way that users whose clips are home made are the primary contributors for the site. The difference here could be the culture and western habit vs. eastern habit.

Personally, I don’t like the site’s layout. Quick comparison could tell it’s so much youtube alike. And the use of color is not very effective.

I’m looking forward to seeing the site’s growth. For now, the its speed is the most fascinating thing for me.
